The Rest Easy remote control enables you to turn the unit on or off, adjust the temperature, change the fan speed and set the timer all with the touch of a button from across the room. With 3 cooling speeds, 3 fan speeds and 4-way air direction, you choose how to cool your room. Auto-cool adjusts the fan speed from powerful cooling when the demand is high to quiet comfort when the demand is low. After purchased and installed by own in my father house, everyone happy and enjoy it, maybe we are luck get a good not like other buyers issued. anyhow, I give high recomm due to I got a good one without trouble. may buy few more for my own house.

Works great and is cooling my entire 900 sq ft basement. It fit in my basement window perfectly. Seems to be a better quality than other AC units we've used.

I have been using this unit for a while now. Every thing on it works like it is suppose to. I am cooling about 600 sq ft with it.
